The King of Drinks Raises Dividend

As an owner of Coca Cola it is always nice to get a pay raise. I have 51.644 shares of this Dividend King which will generate $72.30 which will cover a night out or a nice pair of shoes. So a raise is always nice

As a follower of the Dividend Kings, One of my favorite Dividend Kings is The Coca-Cola Company.  Cocoa Cola announced a quarterly dividend increase of from $0.33 to $0.35 per share that’s payable April 1, 2016 to holders of record March 15, 2015. This represents a 6.06% increase to regular quarterly dividends and this is the 54th consecutive year that KO has increased its dividend per share.Image

  1. Long time shareholder of KO and can really appreciate the consistency this name offers long term dividend growth investors. Not a huge increase but still satisfactory considering all the headwinds the company is currently facing with a strong dollar. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Can’t go wrong with Coke. You know a company has arrived when people order drinks by saying I’ll have a coke (this could mean I want a Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, etc.) but everyone just says I’ll have coke. Just like everyone says Google it, even if they are on Yahoo, Ask, AOL, etc.
